Family Liaison Officer

Salary: Grade H, Points 25-27 £22,658 - £24,174 (pro-rata)
Hours: 30 hours over 4 days (Term time only plus 2 weeks)
We are seeking to recruit a Family Liaison Officer to work in our school and service for children and young people with autism.
We are proud of the way in which we work in close partnership with our parents, carers and local community and are looking for someone to help us further embed our outstanding practice.
The successful candidate will be highly motivated, able to work independently as well as part of a team, have excellent communication skills and knowledge of systems which benefit families. They will support parents/carers and pupils with the aim of ensuring that all children gain maximum benefit from their education through pre-school support, engagement with the school, good attendance and ongoing support.
You will have experience of any of the following – social work, teaching, health or similar disciplines working with families and young people; to provide a support and information service, in order to promote the safety, learning skills, self-esteem and emotional well-being of all pupils at Beverley School.
