PE Activities –

Stay active but don’t overdo it and end up injuring yourself. Exercise every day. Stay active around the house by walking up and down the stairs a few times, run on the spot when an advert comes on the TV or Screen, reduce the time you sit in a chair, bounce a ball and catch it, squeeze a tennis ball if you have one, step up onto a chair/stool, there are lots of ways to stay on the move.

If you can get out walk at a fast pace, or ride your bike if you have one. Just don’t sit for too long!

These equipment-free fitness routines are great to do at home and short enough for you to easily fit them into your daily schedule.

There are 6 workouts, 1 for every day of the week if you include a rest day, each working on a different area of your fitness.

Try to do 1 of these routines daily to improve your general health and strengthen and tone different muscle groups.

This clip shows some basic exercises you can do daily for general health. Suitable for adults and children.

Vary your exercise routine between doing stretching and strengthening exercises, cardio work out where you get hot and sweaty, and some mindfulness/yoga. That way you will get an all round body fitness and keep your mind active and healthy too.
