Dear Parents and Carers,
We hope this letter finds you well. We are writing to share some important news regarding a valued member of our school community, Karen Revill, who has been an exceptional leader of our sixth form.
After many years of dedicated service and unwavering commitment to our students, Karen has decided to step down from her role as Head of Sixth Form. However, we are thrilled to announce that she will continue to be an integral part of our school, taking on the roles of a three-day-a-week Food Technology Teacher.
Throughout her tenure, Karen has provided exceptional support and guidance, helping to shape the futures of countless students. Her passion for careers education has been instrumental in developing robust programs that prepare our students for independent lives. Under her leadership, our work experience program has flourished, achieving 100% Gatsby Benchmark compliance, a remarkable feat that underscores her dedication and expertise.
Karen’s efforts have not only been recognised within our school but also on a national level. She has won prestigious careers awards and has put our school on the map as a national leader in careers education. Her vision and hard work have ensured that our sixth form and career development programs are among the best, providing our students with unparalleled opportunities and support.
While Karen transitions to her new roles, we are confident that her passion for education and her commitment to our students will continue to shine. She will still be here to inspire, guide, and support both students and staff, ensuring that our tradition of excellence continues.
We are deeply grateful for all that Karen has achieved and look forward to the continued impact she will have in her new capacities. Please join us in thanking Karen for her outstanding contributions and in wishing her the very best in this next chapter of her career.
