Vocational Learning: Photography
Photography introduces students to the creative and practical processes used in taking digital photographs. They are given the opportunity to experiment with a range of settings and to discover the effect that these have on their photos. During the course we visit a range of places based on themed topics. By completing these tasks students complete work towards one or more Occupational Studies units. These may include the level 1 units: exploring digital photography; using a camera and accessories; photography – using a tripod; and digital graphics editing. There are also a couple of possible entry level 3 units: creating images digitally and introduction to personal digital photography processing.
